Goal
Understand which exchange the data comes from, how to connect Coinbase and Hyperliquid, and what is and isn't available for them.
Up to this screen, all data came from one exchange — Binance, spot and futures. Workspace V2 has two more exchanges:
- Coinbase — spot only, 402 pairs against the dollar (BTC/USD).
- Hyperliquid — perpetual futures only, 178 contracts against USDC (BTC/USDC).
History for both starts on September 11, 2026.
Where to find it
- Nothing to turn on. Both exchanges are available on paid plans and only in Workspace V2.
- Coin search → exchange filter: COINBASE:BTC/USD, HYPERLIQUID:BTC/USDC.
- Every COIN indicator gets the field Exchange in the “Inputs” tab: Chart / Binance / Coinbase / Hyperliquid. The default is Chart — the same exchange as the chart.
Example. Open a Binance BTC/USDT chart and add three COIN B&A. Pick a different exchange in each. You get three order books of one coin on one screen.

What's available
- Candles on all intervals from a minute to a day.
- Trades and order book at seven depths, 1.5–60% — the COIN group indicators: B&A, RATIO, TRADES and others.
- Coinbase also has the liquidity heatmap and limits on the chart.
Three differences in indicator settings on these exchanges:
- Market Type (SPOT / FUTURES) has no effect. Each of these exchanges has one market: Coinbase is spot, Hyperliquid is futures. The platform sets the value itself.
- BTC Pairs has no effect. There's nothing to add up: Bitcoin has one pair there.
- On Hyperliquid, the 30% and 60% depths aren't available for every coin. Those lines are dimmed in the dialog.
What's missing
- Hyperliquid provides only 20 order book levels per side. So limits and the heatmap aren't built for it, and far depths are approximate.
- Neither exchange has derivatives data: liquidations, funding, OI, margin loans, long/short. Coinbase simply doesn't have it, it's spot. For Hyperliquid, the platform doesn't collect it yet. These indicators aren't offered for these exchanges, and ones already on the chart show “no data”.
- These exchanges aren't in the old workspace, favorites, alerts or the API.
Takeaway
By default all data comes from Binance. Coinbase and Hyperliquid are available on paid plans and only in Workspace V2. Both have candles, trades, order book and COIN indicators. Heatmap and limits are Coinbase only. Neither has derivatives data. The Exchange input of a COIN indicator picks the exchange separately from the chart.
